Max Brenner

Max Brenner has a menu to cater for anything your sweet tooth desires. Being in the city I love visiting the Broadway branch which is tucked off George Street. It has plenty of on street parking or free parking at Broadway Shopping Centre. Despite the location it still gets their fair share of chocolate lovers at night. My pet hate about this place is their toilets located behind security doors that require the assistance of staff to access them.

The pictures of their menu have been collated over two visits...

I really enjoyed their Expresso and Praline Milkshake. It was frothy and super sweet. It's great to share this as the intensity can become too much even for a chocolate lover like myself. Another highly recommended beverage to try is their Strawberry float. My friends love it, I'm slightly biased with my opinions due to my disinterests in strawberry flavour anything...

My friends shared a Chocolate Sundae with bananas and strawberries. It looked pretty amazing arriving to the table.

As part of their Easter theme they had this egg look-a-like dessert... which came highly recommended by the guy cleaning our table when we sat down. A white chocolate mousse with a sunny mango centre on a delicate song, touched with coconut... Served with a pot of pure melted chocolate and strawberries. It looked a lot better in the advertisement then on the plate... but it didn't taste all too bad.

My brother in law shared with his wife a brownie sundae that sounded more appealing than it looked. This was a special back in January when we last went.

... and last but not least my favourite hug mug beverage. It's just the right amount of sweetness to finish off the night with... and I love the shape of the mug.

I never really suggest Max Brenner as a place for dessert dining but everytime I'm there it's just a great place to tickle the sweet tooth and chat the night away with friends and family.

About

I suddenly feel the tides turning. A yearn for something better in my life. I'm hoping for big changes in my career, maybe the touch of my first born and the ongoing rollercoaster of my marriage.

It feels important enough to dedicate a few minutes of my days to etch out how it is through my eyes... just so one day I can flick through and reminisce

Meet The Author

I've spent my whole life being the son my parents wanted me to be. I studied hard, went through the different levels of the school system and then I'm now 30. I married a beautiful girl, trying to pay off a mortgage, and have a bucket list of things I want to do which don't involve work.

I've always had a passion for blogging, photography, food, collecting aka organised hoarding and music and I can't think of any better moment to start documenting it...
