Pepper Lunch

WifeOfSnackingBear suggested we try Pepper Lunch. I recall a similar visit in the past when we first started dating but nothing that memorable to ever go back.

We opted for the Deluxe Combo - Premium Cut Steak, Salmon Steak, Battered Onion Rings, side of vegetables, rice and a bottle of sweeten ice tea.  The meal set us back $20.40.

I was quite impressed by their steak. So tender and juicy, with flavours bursting at the seams. Same went for their Salmon Steak. The vegetables and onion rings were a let down... offering nothing more than the necessary greens to satisfy some sort of health quota.... and the onion rings were soggy.

The meal was served on a sizzling plate which meant they never ask you how you like your steak as you can always choose to leave it longer... or if you're a slow eater... then you better like well done steak.

You order at the front counter, get a number and then take a seat. Everything will be brought out to you. Their customer service was friendly especially since we ask for extra cutlery and bowls to share one meal between two (yes I do this when we decide to hit multiple eateries in a day).

With friendly customer service, decent price tags and steak that left me wanting more... I might do another revisit just for a massive slab of beef.

About

I suddenly feel the tides turning. A yearn for something better in my life. I'm hoping for big changes in my career, maybe the touch of my first born and the ongoing rollercoaster of my marriage.

It feels important enough to dedicate a few minutes of my days to etch out how it is through my eyes... just so one day I can flick through and reminisce

Meet The Author

I've spent my whole life being the son my parents wanted me to be. I studied hard, went through the different levels of the school system and then I'm now 30. I married a beautiful girl, trying to pay off a mortgage, and have a bucket list of things I want to do which don't involve work.

I've always had a passion for blogging, photography, food, collecting aka organised hoarding and music and I can't think of any better moment to start documenting it...
