Are you the person that chooses to remove that pickle from your Cheeseburger or ask for no anchovies on your pizza...I'm the guy that likes the anchovies on the pizza or pickles in my burger... this is my reasoning for placing this in my basket. This also came in a wasabi or tom yum flavour... but I hoped just trying the original anchovy would be the best choice.
It's very dried out and leaves a grainy residue as you continue chewing. It might get to the point where it breaks down to so many tiny crunchy bits, making it hard to swallow and possibly a choking coughing sensation.
The texture actually reminds me of the dried bugs I've had. The earthworm and cockroaches seem to have the same consistency.
The initial taste is a sweet sensation and then as you continue to chew the slight chilliness kicks in. It's not as salty as anchovies normally are. The snack was very moreish. I enjoyed them quite a lot but never felt satisfied because you never felt really full.
