I started off with their Salted Caramel Choux. The choux looks crunchy but its not. It's a slightly tough and slightly chewy layer to break through with the cutlery but once you do, it blends in immaculately with the heavenly divine salted caramel creme on the inside.
I had to control myself to take that initial shot before I wolfed it down. It was one of those sorry not sorry moments for my bad table manners... but you got to excuse me as this is too good to share.
Next up to be eaten was their parfait on a stick that resembled a Magnum Ice cream. This comprised of lychee liquor, coconut cream and white chocolate. I thought I swore off parfaits for life but this is definitely a game changer.
The lovely essence of lychee blended in the super smooth creamy texture... just left me wanting more.
The staff were beyond helpful as they carefully explain the menu and answered my curious questioning without any hesitation.
John Marshall's range of ice creams and cakes hosted in a decor that whispers minimalist is the perfect place to park your stomachs and bottoms after a meal in Braddon. I know I'll be back again and again to discover more of this alchemist's creations.
