I ordered their Lamb Souvlaki Pita - Souvlaki wrapped in traditional pita bread with tomato, lettuce, onion, tzatziki, and chips. All their souvlaki is locally made and hand cut to ensure the best quality.
The portion size was quite massive but you would hope so at $12.50 each. The meat was tender for the most part with some odd chewy bits. The favourite aspect was that the meat was so well seasoned and didn't need the sauce the add additional flavour.
Though in saying that... there was not enough sauce... well that was my initial reaction but ended finding all my sauce at the bottom of the wrap. The flavours and consistency of the sauce complimented well.
I think if you're in The Hamlet and you want to branch out from the typical pie, pizza or hot dog norm... then Fillos is worth the pit stop. Sure, its not the best I've had, but it's just as good as any of the food trucks it's pitted up against.
