Max Brenner

I feel like I've been going to Max Brenner forever. It's been our solid rock to depend on for trusty desserts.

My wife, without fail, goes for her trusty Waffle with a side of Strawberries. I must admit the waffle here is simple but done so well. I think what makes their desserts is the quality of their chocolate.

I opted for one of my old school favourites, the Chocolate Souffle. I was expecting the oozing of chocolate lava as I waited with my camera in anticipation... but was left a bit disappointed as it didn't gush out like I was hoping.

The souffle is one of those deceiving desserts. It looks tiny but is surprisingly filling. It's very rich and dense... so be sure to get some of that complimentary water to wash it down.

On most nights here at the Parramatta branch you would expect a line and not much seating left and tonight was no different. We lucked out with a short line and a group just left. I guess it was just meant to be.

They also have a large range of take home goodies that you can purchase. I have done so before but felt it was slightly overpriced for what you're getting. Their eat-in options are more amazing.

Max Brenner offers reliable and consistent desserts that leaves you smiling... so if you're ever in doubt... this is the closest to a guaranteed crowd pleaser as you can get.

About

I suddenly feel the tides turning. A yearn for something better in my life. I'm hoping for big changes in my career, maybe the touch of my first born and the ongoing rollercoaster of my marriage.

It feels important enough to dedicate a few minutes of my days to etch out how it is through my eyes... just so one day I can flick through and reminisce

Meet The Author

I've spent my whole life being the son my parents wanted me to be. I studied hard, went through the different levels of the school system and then I'm now 30. I married a beautiful girl, trying to pay off a mortgage, and have a bucket list of things I want to do which don't involve work.

I've always had a passion for blogging, photography, food, collecting aka organised hoarding and music and I can't think of any better moment to start documenting it...
