Almost discouraged from visiting based on Zomato ratings, I somehow pushed through the bad impression and found myself paypassing $17.50 for a Reuben sandwich.
The Reuben - Salted beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and pickles with chips. It came out on a board with its beautiful cross-section, large serving size and well salted side of chips. The ingredient list reflects a generic reuben and the quality reflects one that's well balanced with melt in your mouth salted beef. Though $17.50 is on the higher end for essentially a sandwich... it's definitely one that stands out.
Like many others, we opted for a cup of their Campos coffees as well.
Their menu reflects one that assimilates a Bondi lifestyle full of gluten free and paleo options and fresh smoothies.
For some reason their staff looked a little frazzled and disorganised and there were literally four small tables of customers with at least 4 staff on hand. I would hate to see this place jam packed with customers.
Reuben and Moore is situated poorly among many large fast food franchises which probably impacts on their customer base. I personally did thoroughly enjoy their Reuben but would I purposely come back for it... probably not... but if I were to eat here again... I would definitely go for the Reuben.
