Na Bangkok

I'm always on the lookout for great deals and this Living Social voucher for Na Bangkok was great. Pay $19 and get to eat $40. With a high matching Urbanspoon rating, it was enough justification to purchase and give it a go.

The place is so small. Which wasn't really a problem as most of their customers takeaway. The staff was quick to greet us when we walked in and very accommodating about everything... especially when they already knew we were using the voucher. We started off with the Papaya salad. My wife thought this was quite spicy but I didn't really notice.

We also ordered the Red Duck curry with pineapple, tomato and vegetables. It was a pretty tasty curry. It also had a decent serving of duck. We paired this with steamed rice, which was unlimited refills for $2.50 per head.

We also tried the Tiger Tears. The sauce really made the dish. The beef was nothing special but was cooked well.

To finish off, we chose the Pandanus Roti. Basically a beautifully thin and crispy roti drizzled with pandan. It didn't look that appealing but despite being full, we both polished this dish off easily.

The meal came to $45, which meant I had to fork over another fiver on top. More than happy to with the great service and food.

About

I suddenly feel the tides turning. A yearn for something better in my life. I'm hoping for big changes in my career, maybe the touch of my first born and the ongoing rollercoaster of my marriage.

It feels important enough to dedicate a few minutes of my days to etch out how it is through my eyes... just so one day I can flick through and reminisce

Meet The Author

I've spent my whole life being the son my parents wanted me to be. I studied hard, went through the different levels of the school system and then I'm now 30. I married a beautiful girl, trying to pay off a mortgage, and have a bucket list of things I want to do which don't involve work.

I've always had a passion for blogging, photography, food, collecting aka organised hoarding and music and I can't think of any better moment to start documenting it...
