We've been on a ramen adventure now thanks to a friend on our Facebook page. We finally made some time to visit Ryo's which has been on our place to try and compare for a long time.
This spicy ramen (Ramen in spicy hot flavour soup, with roast pork, egg and shallot) has got to be up there with the best ones I've tried. The noodles were the perfect consistency for me, the pork was a nice mixture of meat and fat, and the spiciness had the right amount of kick and flavour ratio. I think I just wanted more noodles at the end to soak up the remaining soup.
My wife ordered the ramen in pork flavoured soup, with roast pork, nori, egg and shallot. She found her broth amazing at first but got too salty overtime during the meal.
The two choices we made happen to be the top two choices on the popularity list.
If this place wasn't so out of my way, I'd have to say this and Gumshara are my favourites by far.
