As a kid, and even now, I'm a fan of Soft Flour Cake. There's something about the way it feels against my teeth that I really enjoy, like an air bag exploding in your mouth and cushioning you from any impact.
To me this was like the Asian's version of the LCM. But less colourful and less fun with the packaging.
I normally enjoy the original flavoured soft flour cake... I think its egg and milk flavour. This was actually one of the first times I've noticed them in different flavours. Though I have to say I have never went out of my way to buy these, it was always already in the house pantry.
The flavour chosen here is the Green Tea. It's quite plain... to the point where it's actually bland and only has a very light taste of green tea. I might even go as far as saying it will ruin your Soft Flour Cake experience.
I'm a big fan of individually wrapped snacks... sure its worse for the environment but this way it stops the need to have elastic bands and ties to make all your food air tight once you've opened them.
The texture is still fantastic and the concept of different flavours still excites me but this is a bust...
