Standing in the confectionery aisle, wondering what to purchase to blog about, when I came across this...
Sitting under a on sale sign. 4 for $1. That's cheap enough to take a gamble on. The packaging looks deliberately fancy, to indicate that it's a more premium range and should be at least decent if you gave it a go. I also noticed it mentioned hazelnut and that was excuse enough.

Actually upon closer inspection this is a Coles branded chocolate bar. I really loved the fact they spent the effort and time to hire someone with some graphics skill set and got some new packaging.
Doing some further research on Google, I notice that the name Swiss Gold is very Lindt-like. Yet again... Coles you never fail to amaze me with your in-house attempts to replicate.
But in saying that... the chocolate inside was actually pretty fantastic. Something I'd definitely repurchase and recommend to you guys to buy or at least try. The chocolate is rich like a thick Nutella with grounded hazelnuts. It's rare I commend Coles branded products on it's taste but this one is definitely up there.
