It was closed at our first attempt at trying this place. We were left forced to fend for ourselves roaming the street to cure our Japanese cravings. #FirstWorldProblems
Fortunately a simple call in advanced confirmed it's availability and we loosened our belts and headed for our eating adventure.
The atmosphere was great. The service was on the ball. They brought out the free water without you begging. They gave you sufficient time to browse through the menu without rushing you. The food came out without too much wait time. It was quite packed for a Sunday lunch, especially since this restaurant is quite poorly located in Eastwood. We got our typical ramen preferences.. mine always with chilli and her's with garlic....
To be honest, we both agreed this place was not as great as Zenya in Eastwood... the meat at Zenya was more a slice of pork fat which melted in your mouth as you guzzled down soups and noodles. This meat was quite rough in texture. The broth was pretty decent though.
We noticed they had a wide range of Bento boxes which I'm definitely keen on giving ago next time.
