The lines were out the door. The wait to be seated was over 30 minutes despite the fast turnover. It was labelled the best crispy chicken to have. I did my thang back then and stood in line and remembered that when I finally bit into that chicken it was so crispy the skin cut my lip.
I'm glad that nowadays its a chain restaurant and you can start finding them in closer locations without the trek out to Cabramatta.
My favourite is the Egg Noodle Crispy Chicken combination with the soup already drowning my noodles. Soup is a loose term for it. It's MSG water.
I enjoyed the story my friend told me that he started calling it MSG water as well because back in high school, I use to call it that. The influence definitely came from my parents where they would not let me drink too much of the soup because it was bad for me.
You could alternatively pair your crispy chicken with red rice and some pickled vegetables.
Normally I'd pair my meal up with a 3 coloured drink. It's basically a dessert not that different from Halo Halo, where it contains mung beans, shaved ice, jelly and coconut sugar syrup. This place serves it with some peanuts on top which I quite enjoyed.
Have a taste from this great chain. The dishes should set you back around $13.
