Mint Oreos

I'm a massive Oreo fan despite Australia lacking behind in creativity with flavours.

The Asian markets is bombarded with a wide range of flavours but unfortunately most of it is poorly manufactured and the taste is a disappointment beyond belief. Whereas America has released some of the best flavours which taste just as good as it sounds. One of those flavours (besides the Reese's Pieces flavoured Oreo which I've finished before I got a chance to review) is the Mint flavour.

It's a cool refreshing bite in a well crafted snack. That choc mint combination sits perfectly with me. The pairing is equally matched without any dominance and I just pop the whole thing in my mouth because I don't want to risk losing any crumbs.

Just look at the detail on each biscuit. Oreo was introduced in 1912 and that design on the biscuit we see today was finalised in 1952. Simply two chocolate discs with a cream filling in between. Today, it's still America's best selling cookie.

Shame I needed to reduce my sugar intake after I noticed my pre-wedding weight loss was reclaimed so dramatically fast due to my intense salt and sugar consumption post wedding. I'll savour the ones I have left. It just makes them ever so more special....

About

I suddenly feel the tides turning. A yearn for something better in my life. I'm hoping for big changes in my career, maybe the touch of my first born and the ongoing rollercoaster of my marriage.

It feels important enough to dedicate a few minutes of my days to etch out how it is through my eyes... just so one day I can flick through and reminisce

Meet The Author

I've spent my whole life being the son my parents wanted me to be. I studied hard, went through the different levels of the school system and then I'm now 30. I married a beautiful girl, trying to pay off a mortgage, and have a bucket list of things I want to do which don't involve work.

I've always had a passion for blogging, photography, food, collecting aka organised hoarding and music and I can't think of any better moment to start documenting it...
